“Ask & Receive The Tao of Phunky”
~Phunky Lollypop~
The work on display is from a myriad of different mediums, from fire, balloons, digital photography and watercolor. I work best when I'm not mired down within a single medium, and will overlap them as needed to achieve the art I've envisioned.
Each piece of art created has its own artistic process and style which gives my work the look and feel of being created by different artist.
I take inspiration from the world around me as most artist do. Many of my pieces are directly and unexpectedly influenced from my life.

I take inspiration from the world around me as most artist do. Many of my pieces are directly and unexpectedly influenced from my life.
By reinterpreting some of these influences, I've created art depicting a world of people obsessed with plastic surgery, wearing masks, in a hyper sexual world. Quoting Nina Simone, "It's a artist job to reflect the times we live in."
Drawing upon that energy, new and unexpected work has emerged. The world's a abstract place overflowing with inspiration...not all of it good. But, in the end it all becomes art, my ups, downs, fears, victories and vulnerabilities...it's the purest place to create from.
Please feel free to send a message to get update info on when and where I'll be showing my work next.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
